Aspire People are assisting a lovely School in Wolverhampton who are looking to appoint hardworking, dedicated and caring Nursery Teaching Assistant to work in their Nursery class. The role is term time only, Monday-Friday.
Your role will include:
*Supervising and supporting children aged 2-4 year olds.
*Keeping children motivated and working towards their Early Years learning goals.
*Planning and implementing children's learning and play activities.
*Observing and assessing children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
*Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers to meet the individual needs of the children.
*Liaise within a multi-disciplinary team, i.e. speech and language and inclusion support.
*Key Person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families.
*Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery.
Requirements Needed:
* Level 3 or above qualifications in childcare or early years
* DBS on the update service or willing to have a new one processed
* Paediatric First Aid or willing to undergo 2-day training course
* Comfortable with nappies if required
* Able to provide 2 references one being from most recent employer
