This Wolverhampton primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their SEND staff, specialising in SEMH. Your new roleWith an SEMH role, you will be catering to the student's emotional needs and wellbeing more so than their academic activities. You will be with certain students day-in-day-out and get to learn their ways of understanding knowledge and how they learn. You will be looking after the emotional and social needs of these children, supporting their mental health and making their day run smoothly. You will assist these children with their reading, writing English and maths when in the classroom. What you'll need to succeed

  • Teaching Assistant Qualification

  • Previous experience with children (SEMH) is desirable
