Full Time - Monday to Friday - 40 Hours

If so, our client, a leading provider of Managed Equipment Services (MES) to the NHS and private healthcare sector in the UK, is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team based at their site in Wolverhampton.

Purpose of the Role
- An experienced Electrical FM Engineer is required to manage all Electrical tasks on site at our Wolverhampton Site
- They will be responsible for managing all aspects of the FM activities within the building (Electrical Bias). Ranging from but not limited to, reactive and planned maintenance (planning and participation), through to supporting variations, changes, and projects
- The goal is to minimise the reactive workload through good maintenance. The execution of all tasks are to be of a high standard; performed safely and professionally. Note that construction, major structural repairs, repair of electronic and complex medical equipment is beyond the scope of this position

The Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within a FM Electrical maintenance and installations background. Completing all aspects of this role within a proactive, preventative and time-based projects environment. They will have all the required electrical qualifications up to Level 3 City and Guilds in electrical installations and inspection and testing 2391 not excluding City and Guilds 18th Edition
- It is desirable that the candidate has experience within a healthcare environment, but this is not essential as site-based training and familiarisation will be provided
- They will possess an in-depth knowledge of FM management techniques, experience of CAFM systems, H&S, CDM and are familiar with performance obligations driven by PFI and/or SLA contracts
- This candidate will be required to provide cover for the Medical Equipment & Facilities Manager when required. This candidate will be required to have a good understanding of supervising a team and decision making when the opportunity presents itself. They will be able to clearly communicate with others via escalation paths and line management

Essential Capability Profile
- City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering qualification or equivalent.
- 18th Edition
- City and Guilds Inspection and Testing 2391
- Relevant Professional qualification
- IOSH / NEBOSH or Equivalent

Essential Experience

- Good understanding of design & construction processes - Desirable
- BMS (Building Management System) experience
- Practical knowledge of Health and Safety. Including CDM, safe systems of work, COSHH, Risk assessments, lone working, etc.
- Familiar with a broad range of medical devices - Desirable
- Experience of working with the NHS, with a thorough understanding of its processes and issues - Desirable
- Medical Gas Experience - Desirable
