Location: Wolverhampton

Are you ready to take your expertise in calibration and metrology to the next level? We're looking for a Calibration Laboratory Engineer to join our global team, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of tools and instruments in compliance with ISO17025 standards.

You’ll be based in our Wolverhampton laboratory with occasional national & international travel as part of this role (please feel free to ask for more details). You will primarily be responsible for the calibration of equipment however you will also be responsible for other general lab and administrative duties as the role requires.

What You'll Do:

  • Calibrate equipment (along with occasional service & repairs), ensuring top-notch functionality.
  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, and provide technical support.
  • Manage calibration documentation and compliance with UKAS standards.
  • Deliver on-site support and training for customers, both locally and internationally.
  • Continuously improve processes and quality management systems.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in calibration/metrology, ideally with Force and Torque.
  • Expertise in calibration standards and methods (e.g., ISO17025).
  • Strong mathematical skills for calculations and formulas.
  • Hard worker, driven, and a keen attitude towards learning/development.
  • Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, customer-focused approach.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work independently or in a team.
