The Company
Seymour John are delighted to be exclusively supporting our client to hire an AP Manager into their Finance Team.
The Opportunity
You will manage the daily operations of the Accounts Payable department whilst workingcollaborativelyand cross functionally to ensure accuracy, integrity and efficiency of information flow between departments and adherence to deadlines. Duties will include:
- ProvideleadershiptotheteamofAPAssociates,ensuringall AP duties are completed within SLAs
- Internalcashflowmonitoringandcashmanagement
- Sendweeklycashflow forecaststoTreasuryandadviseofanylarger commitments in advance
- LiaisewithAuditors
- Reviewandapproveallnewsupplierrequestsormasterdataupdates whilst ensuring compliance
ProcessImprovement:
- AnalysecurrentAPworkflowsand financialprocessesto identify efficiencies
- Develop and implement strategies to assist the CFO streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve productivity
- Collaborate with wider teams to document and standardise optimised governance and processes
OutcomeOptimisation:
- Identifyandprioritiseopportunitiestoenhanceservicedelivery
- Establish AP metrics to measure the success of improvement initiatives
Cross-FunctionalCollaboration:
- Facilitateworkshopsandtrainingsessionstoempower colleagues with insights and understanding
- Support cross-functionalappropriatefinancialprojectstodrive innovation and embed efficiency in the wider finance team
Personal Profile
We are looking to speak to experienced AP Managers who can demonstrate working knowledge of managing and supporting a progressive Accounts Payable function, where you will be looking to improve process and implement change. We are looking for a Leader who can drive performance and work on their own initiative with strong people management skills.
