FINANCE MANAGER - Part-time (4 days a week mon-thurs) upto 40k FTE - Wolverhampton

greenwellgleeson are exclusively recruiting for a Finance Managert to join a family run, construction company based in Wolverhampton.

30 Hours a week can be spread over the days that suit the work life balance a candidate is looking for.

Reporting to the Head of Financial (you will have overall responsibility for overseeing delivery of the financial data).

Main duties and responsibilities;

  • Perform book-keeping duties and day-day processing of all the companies financial transactions e.g. invoices, expenses onto Sage Line 50.

  • Take ownership of payroll processing and reporting

  • Lead month-end close processes to ensure the issue of timely and accurate financial statements, monthly management accounts and Management Agreement requirements.

  • Support the month-end accounting processes.

  • Assist on internal and external financial reporting.

  • Assist on all aspects of Financial Processing and Reporting, to include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.

  • Liaising with external auditors as required.

  • Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting under the direction of the Head of Financial Management.

Skills and experience:

  • Experience using Sage Line 50, Excel & Microsoft Office

  • Demonstrable strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • High level of organisational skills and experience.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Flexibility to support a number of different projects
