The Head of FP&A role presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic finance professional to join a forward-thinking organisation that values analytical skills and strategic insight. The company fosters a collaborative environment where employees are encouraged to drive change and contribute to the overall success of the business.The Head of FP&A will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function, managing a team, and influencing key stakeholders across diverse markets. This pivotal role will involve overseeing the planning cycle, enhancing business reporting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of 2-3 individuals, overseeing the full range of FP&A responsibilities.
  • Leading the planning cycle, including strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Enhancing business reporting and developing an analytics platform for the organisation.
  • Modelling and appraising high-value, complex projects, including business case development.
  • Managing relationships with business partners and providing technical accounting support as needed.

Skills and attributes:

  • Qualified accountant, ideally with CIMA accreditation.
  • Strong experience in FP&A with a proven ability to use analysis to shape business direction.
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with BI systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups and navigate different cultures.
  • Experience in people management and driving organisational change.
