Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Personal Tax Manager, you will work closely with the Tax Partner and senior leadership team to deliver expert tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring accurate compliance and delivering expert advice
  • Reviewing and overseeing the preparation of complex personal tax returns
  • Advising clients on capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and income tax planning
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, strengthening long-term client relationships
  • Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, providing training and guidance
  • Staying up to date with tax legislation changes and keeping clients informed
  • Assisting clients with HMRC enquiries, investigations, and tax disclosures
  • Identifying and developing opportunities to provide additional services to clients
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure an integrated approach to client service
  • Leading business development initiatives, networking, and identifying new client opportunities
  • Reviewing and improving internal processes to enhance efficiency and service quality
  • Representing the firm externally, reinforcing its reputation as a leading tax advisory practice
