Role Overview

This company are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their team. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will work closely with the financial planners to deliver comprehensive and personalised financial plans to clients. You’ll be responsible for conducting research, preparing planning recommendations, assisting with annual reviews, and directly engaging with clients to ensure they receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis to support financial planners in the creation of bespoke financial plans
  • Prepare planning recommendations and produce detailed financial reports
  • Play a key role in the preparation and confirmation of annual client reviews
  • Liaise with clients to collect information and provide updates
  • Keep up-to-date with financial products, legislation, and industry trends
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Preferably Diploma-qualified (DipPFS or equivalent) - candidates who have relevant experience will be considered without the qualifications
  • Previous paraplanning experience is essential
  • Experience with cashflow planning is preferred
  • Strong report-writing and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of financial software such as cashflow tools, FE Analytics, and report-writing software
  • Strong understanding of tax and investment products
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
  • Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • Holidays: 33 days (including bank holidays) with the option to purchase up to 5 additional days(Note: 2 days will be automatically allocated during the Christmas to New Year office closure)
