Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in the meat industry? Do you have a solid understanding of technical management and a passion for driving high standards in food manufacturing? If so, we want to hear from you!

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected food manufacturer in Wolverhampton. As the Late Shift Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing operations during non-traditional working hours, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production and operational activities from Tuesday to Friday (3:30pm – 10:30pm) and Saturday (6am – 12pm).
  • Ensure compliance with all technical and food safety standards.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to maintain operational excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance processes.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
  • Maintain a strong focus on health & safety and regulatory compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in the meat industry is essential – understanding of processes, regulations, and industry challenges.
  • Technical management experience is a must – previous experience in compliance, audits, and food safety is critical.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
