The Role: 5 Axis Miller

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experience 5 Axis Miller to join a busy and thriving aerospace manufacturing business in Wolverhampton.

As an apprentice trained machinist, you will bring your skills or milling activities to the forefront of manufacturing Original Equipment for technical aerospace application.

You’ll need to be comfortable working to tight tolerances and have a clear understanding and experience of inspecting your own work with the view to become a stamp holder following a set training period.

Duties: 5 Axis Miller

• Set up and operate multiple CNC machines/processes.
• Operate and set CNC 5 Axis Milling Work Centres.
• Preferred experience with Matsurra and DMG machines.
• Perform first-off inspections
• Complete necessary quality documentation.

Background: 5 Axis Miller

• Recognized engineering apprenticeship.
• Working with tight tolerances
• Ideally within the aerospace industry.
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling.
• Proven skills in a multi-axis/complex machining environment.
