Are you a dedicated and experience Tutor with a passion for helping students excel in their studies?

We are seeking a Home Tutor with expertise in Primary years/ EYFS teaching.

 

Whether you prefer full-time or part-time hours, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic success of our student in the comfort of their own home.

 

I am currently seeking a patient and dedicated tutor to work with a young pupil in their home, this young person has not attended school for several months, and has a diagnosis of ASD.

 

The ideal tutor will initially build a strong relationship with the young person before incorporating learning opportunities based around the young persons EHCP and school targets and outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong relationship with your young person initially.
  • Provide exceptional one-on-one tutoring sessions to students, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the subject matter.
  • Assess and regularly monitor the progress of your students, adjusting your teaching methods to maximise their learning outcomes.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates students to excel.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians to provide feedback on student progress and address any concerns.
  • Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Home Tutor, particularly at the primary level, is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with the National Curriculum/ EYFS, with the ability to teach other subjects being a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals.
  • The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual learning needs of each student.

Working Hours:

The working hours for this position are flexible and can be tailored to your availability. Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time work, we can accommodate your schedule. The role includes 1 to 2 hours of planning time, depending on the length of tutoring sessions.
