Job Specification: Steel Fixer (CSCS Card Required)

Rate: 24 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Steel Fixer with a valid CSCS card to join our team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for tying steel for concrete bases, ensuring high-quality work that meets safety and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Cut, bend, and tie steel reinforcement bars (rebar) as per specifications.
- Ensure all steel work is accurately placed and secured.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid CSCS card is essential.
- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer.
- Strong knowledge of steel fixing techniques and materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
