```Job Summary```
We are seeking a skilled Vertical Borer to join our team. As a Vertical Borer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining vertical boring machines to fabricate and shape metal components. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and materials.

```Responsibilities```
- Set up and operate vertical boring machines to perform machining operations
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a Vertical Borer or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools and operating machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with Solid Works or similar CAD software is a plus
- Experience with materials handling, including lifting and moving heavy components
- Ability to fabricate, weld, and assemble metal components is desirable
