Veterinary Surgeon £50k-£95k DOE. Wolverhampton

You are a vet and good at your job, helping animals, trying to be the best you can be, and giving back to the industry you love. But you are noticing changes.

Tired of the paint by numbers consultations, increased form filling,  and less time with the patient which seems to be the norm nowadays.  This isn’t what you signed up for.  The bottom line is everything and don’t get me started on all those silly targets!

You are stuck in a rut, looking for a change, but don’t want more of the same.

What if we knew of an independent practice in Wolverhampton without those silly targets, where you can work with like-minded individuals, a place where you can actually tailor your approach to meet the needs and aspirations of the clients, have clinical freedom, and give the best possible care you can?

Luckily, we do and this one is hiring.

A two-site modern independent practice on the edge of Wolverhampton is hiring for growth. They are looking for a minimum of a two-year vet or an experienced vet to work alongside their first option team.

One of the clinics is currently relocating to a modern purpose-built facility on the edge of Wolverhampton, whereas the other made a similar move four years ago.

They will start with the person and fit the role around you whether you have two or ten years of experience.

With a growing business and a strong loyal client base you will be getting stuck in from the start. They offer a varied mix of consults and surgery with plenty of clinical freedom and autonomy.

You want to develop; you want to be part of a team working together towards a shared goal. Use the skills you have and develop the ones you are less experienced in.  A substantial CPD budget with extra days off to study should take care of this.

With certificate holders on site and plenty of experience in the team,  people are always there to assist you and learn from.

There is a real ‘friendly feel,’ to this practice,  a result, it’s not just a job. It’s a community.   They love what they do. And that makes them better vets.

They’ll fire up the grill in summer, have charity days, karting events, and plenty of social activities when time allows.

They work with local charities, and often take on cases where pets would have been put down and then rehome them. The staff have been known to take these home, so be warned!

So, what’s in it for you?  £50k-£95k, no OOH and no sole charge. All fees paid for plus CPD allowance, pension, and discounted vet bills.

With both practices based around the Wolverhampton area, you have all the facilities you need. Bars, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, gyms plus plenty of countryside walks and outdoor pursuits only 30 mins away, what’s not to like?

So, what’s next?

Send your CV, don’t worry if it’s not up to date. We can’t get the whole story in a job ad so ask any questions. I’ll answer honestly, no hard sell.

Be a more fulfilled vet at a practice that cares.
