212 Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a Pallet Assembly Operative/Case Maker to join our clients busy team.
Previous experience of case/pallet or shed making & carpentry skills would be advantageous although not essential as training can be provided. The successful candidate will ideallybe comfortable using a Cross saw, band saw and circular sawas well as nail guns.
The role will involve:
- Receive and review cutting lists/drawings from the production office
- Ensure all materials and tools are correct prior to processing
- Complete "first off" checks prior to producing the required batch
- Check all dimensionsand record details as required
- Clean down tools and equipment as required to maximise tool life
- Transfer completed cases to storage/dispatch
- Ensure scrap material is kept to a minimum and it is disposed of correctly and safely
Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:30
- Friday 07:30-12:30
