My client, an electrical and mechanical contractor, is seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer to join the team covering the Wolverhampton area. They are an established business, operating for over 30 years, with an excellent reputation.
The Fire Alarm Engineer will be responsible for the service and maintenance of fire alarm systems and some installation work as required alongside the existing facilities team.
Fire Alarm Engineer Responsibilities:
- Maintain the general upkeep of fire alarm systems across multiple sites
- Inspection of premises
- Conducting routine fire alarm maintenance
- Carrying out planned, preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Performing repairs and fixing faulty accessories
- Carry out installation work alongside the projects and installation team.
Fire Alarm Engineer Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will need good knowledge of various fire alarm systems
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
- Hands-on experience in working within the maintenance and service industry
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Excellent approach to health and safety following all guidelines required
- Full Driving License
- Relevant Fire Alarm qualifications and FIA training

- £32,000 to £38,000 dependent on experience
