This is an interim opportunity for a Head of Health & Safety to work on a number of projects alongside the operational business, ensuring safety standards are met, and the right policies are in place for employees in a highly regulated industry.

The company is globally recognised and has a number of sites across the UK that this role will be responsible for including a Head Office function in Wolverhampton.
Description
As the Head of Health & Safety you will support the existing H&S team and advocates across the business to ensure a safe working environment across 7 UK sites. This will include:
- Implementing effective safety policies.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
- Developing and delivering safety training programmes for all employees.
- Conducting regular risk assessments and safety audits.
- Managing and resolving any safety-related issues.
- Collaborating with other departments to promote safety culture.
- Managing and developing a team of 3 H&S Specialists
Profile
The successful Head of Health & Safety will have:
- Previously worked in a similar multi-site position within Health & Safety.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Designed and delivered training programmes that engage operational employees.
- The ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
- Managed and developed multi-site H&S teams.
Job Offer
- £60,000 - £65,000 plus package.
- Hybrid working with travel to multiple sites across the UK (Wolverhampton Head Office) so the successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK as long as they are open to travelling.
- c6 month contract with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
