Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive Primary School in Wolverhampton. This role will involve working closely with the class teacher to help create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment in a Year 5 classroom.
The successful candidate will have experience delivering small group and 1:1 interventions, particularly in core subjects, and will be confident supporting Key Stage 2 pupils.
Start Date: After Easter Holidays – April 2025
Contract Duration: Until July 2025, with the potential to become a permanent position
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30

Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment

Provide tailored support for small groups and individual pupils in English and Maths

Help manage pupil behaviour and ensure a safe and inclusive space for all learners

A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification

Strong curriculum knowledge of Key Stage 2 (KS2)

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or LSA in Nurseries or Primary Schools

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or issued within the last 12 months

Previous experience working in a UK primary school setting

A minimum of two excellent references

Competitive daily rate – up to £95 per day, equivalent to £18,525 per year (based on full-time, term-time work)
