ABC Teachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join an SEMH Specialist School in Wolverhampton on a full-time basis, starting in January 2025.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant in our SEMH school, you will:

  • Support Educational and Emotional Development: Provide tailored support to meet the social, emotional, and educational needs of students.
  • Collaborate with Teachers: Work closely with the classroom teacher to deliver an engaging and adaptive curriculum, helping students achieve their individual goals.
  • One-on-One and Group Support: Offer one-on-one assistance or lead small group activities to encourage social skills, resilience, and independence.
  • Long-Term Potential: This full-time role offers the potential for a long-term to permanent placement for the right candidate.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification: Essential for this role.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to quickly build rapport with students and colleagues, supporting positive relationships.
  • DBS Check and References: Ability to provide suitable references and pass a DBS check.
