What You Will Do:
- Support the delivery of the People Strategy within Propulsion Operations, including Employee Performance Management & Business Advisory Committee activities.
- Work on key projects and support a variety of employee lifecycle activities across the department.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from manufacturing and trade unions to drive engagement projects.
- Ensure effective communication across all levels, adapting your style to suit a variety of audiences.
- Utilise generalist HR experience to advise on policy applications for Absence, Recruitment, Training, Payroll, and Contractual obligations.
- Engage closely with wider HR teams to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven generalist HR experience, with a solid understanding of HR policies and their application (such as Absence, Recruitment, Training, Payroll & Contractual obligations).
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including management and shop floor staff to deliver engagement projects.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the adaptability to engage a diverse audience.
- Experience within a manufacturing and/or unionised environment is highly preferred.
- Project management skills and experience facilitating events or workshops are desirable.
- Qualification in HR/Relevant discipline or CIPD qualification.
