You will be responsible for overseeing our network infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organisation's network infrastructure.
  • Manage network performance, security, and capacity planning.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and manage escalations, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support the deployment of network-dependent applications and services.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and other access controls.
  • Monitor network usage and optimise for efficiency, speed, and reliability.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior network engineers and support staff.
  • Maintain documentation of network infrastructure, processes, and configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Network Manager or a senior-level network engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networking.
  • Experience with network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, NAC).
  • Proficient in managing enterprise-level switches, routers, and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, HP, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).
  • Solid understanding of protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
  • Experience with network virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware NSX, Cisco ACI).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with VoIP and unified communication systems.
  • Ability to manage network storage solutions (SAN/NAS).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desirable Tech Stack:

  • Network Hardware: Cisco, Juniper, HP, Meraki, Ubiquiti.
  • Firewalls/Security: Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point.

Qualifications:
