Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Data Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the school’s data systems, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations. This role is pivotal in supporting the school's administrative and academic functions by providing valuable data insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily management and maintenance of the school’s Management Information System (MIS).
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all student and school data.
  • Prepare, analyse, and interpret data reports to support senior leadership in decision-making.
  • Manage the collection, input, and processing of data for statutory returns (e.g., School Census).
  • Provide training and support to staff on data systems and usage.
  • Work closely with school leadership to develop data-driven strategies for school improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Management Information Systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using Excel and other data management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
