Fire & Security Service Engineer!
About Us: We are represeinting a client specialising in tailor-made, technology-based integrated systems for the most complex and demanding security, fire, communications, and life safety needs. They are looking for a new team member to join our family in the Bristol, South Gloucester, Bath, or Wiltshire area to cover the West Midlands region.
Role Overview: As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you will work across diverse sectors, including hospitality, retail, public houses, education, and more. Each day will bring new challenges and opportunities. Your responsibilities will include fault finding, repairs, replacements, and occasionally full commissioning to ensure our fire and security systems are fully operational. Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach are essential as you will be directly interacting with clients.
System Knowledge: You will work with various systems, including fire detection and alarm systems, CCTV, and intruder alarms. Experience with the following brands is beneficial:
- CTEC
- Notifier
- Advanced
- Fike Twinflex
- Ziton
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar environment
- Right to work in the UK
- Good timekeeping and organisational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong understanding of both fire and security disciplines (fire is essential)
- Valid driving licence with no more than 3 points
- Apprenticeship background in the fire and/or security sector is welcome
- Screening check in accordance with BS(Apply online only) (ID check, 5-year career history, basic DBS check, and financial checks)
Package:
- Salary: 32,000 - 36,000 per annum
- Average earnings with on-call & overtime: 37,000 - 41,000
- Door-to-door pay (30 mins each way)

- 20.5 days holiday rising to 22.5 after 12 months + bank holidays
- 40-hour working week (08:00 - 17:00)
- Candidate must be within a commutable distance of Bristol
