£32,000 to £35,000 - plus a quarterly bonus

Days - Monday - Thursday - 07:30 - 16:00, Friday - 07:30 - 13:00 - overtime is also available
Based in the Wolverhampton area
Automotive, manufacturing and production background an advantage
Duties of a Press Shop Team Leader you would be
- Ensure team is aware of daily targets and responsibilities.
- Ensure all team members always follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements and to make sure all operators have the correct PPE for their role.
- Ensure Full adherence to 5s practises at all times.
- Monitor Team performance
- Ensure all training records are updated and matrix is correct.
- Ensure non-conforming material is segregated and clearly identified.
- Ensure Achievement to plan is met each week and if any issues escalated to relevant management or department heads.
- Work to production plan and prepare and set up lines accordingly.
- Undertake continuous improvement and development training, identify and deploy skill set resource levels in your area.
- Preform root cause analysis and resolve problems in your area.
- Identify business improvement opportunities.
As a Press Shop Team Leader you would ideally have the below skills
- Team Leader
- Press setting understanding
- Six Sigma
- Lean Manufacturing
- 5s understanding
- Working to production plans
- Monitor, Utilisation and Efficiency daily ROSPA or PUWAR beneficial

Hands on role - leading approx 20 - 25 staff including press setters
