An unmissable new role offering exceptional insurance career path opportunities
This is the perfect opportunity for ambitious and talented insurance underwriters looking for a fast-growing company which encourages drive and success, ensures a healthy work/life balance, offers exciting career paths, and genuinely supports social responsibility.
What the role involves
As a key member of a dynamic and friendly underwriting team, your duties will include producing renewal and mid-term amendments and quotations for new business. You’ll appreciate and follow underwriting guides, service level agreements and business operating standards.
About the company
Don’t miss out! Roles within this thriving, dynamic and diversified specialist insurance intermediary are highly coveted. This is the perfect place for you if you’re ambitious and truly want to see how far you can go.
For over a decade, backed by leading global private equity firms, the company has grown rapidly through acquisition, and finding and retaining exceptional talent. You’ll be working alongside – and learning from - outstanding individuals with a wealth of knowledge and experience across the insurance market.
If you share its ethos for consistently providing excellence in customer service, you like working in a collaborative atmosphere where you’ll find an excellent culture (including a strong work/life balance), and you’re excited by its reputation for supporting and developing talent, then speak to us today.
What you’ll receive
The role is hybrid/flex, so you’ll be required to work some days from the company’s attractive offices in the bustling heart of the Midlands, or vibrant Leeds.
The salary is highly competitive, on top of which there is an attractive holidays allowance and a generous and progressive benefits package.
Finally, you will be thoroughly supported – and encouraged – to benefit from professional development and study opportunities.
What you’ll bring
The role requires underwriting expertise and (ideally) some experience working in the construction sector. You’ll need to demonstrate at least 2 years’ track record in handling casualty/liability risks.
You’ll bring an innate growth mindset, and appreciate your impact in helping your team and the company continue its exceptional growth trajectory. Target-driven, you’ll be required to achieve specific income targets across a range of products. As a strong team player, you’ll be motivating colleagues to achieve this too.
A natural people-person, and first-class communicator, you’ll help the team nurture and strengthen relationships with brokers and insurance partners.
