Responsibilities and Benefits:

  • Collaborate with children, young people, and their parents/carers to identify and meet their educational needs.
  • Preparation and timely amendment of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in accordance with relevant legislation.
  • Maintain effective communication with young people and their parents/carers throughout the assessment and review process.
  • Liaise with various agencies, such as NHS Trusts, Clinical Commissioning Groups, and Social Care, to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions while adhering to established guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate records and producing reports.
  • Valid driving licence required.
