Reed Engineering and Manufacturing are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Quality Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in Wolverhampton and play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our client's products. We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to focus on root cause analysis (RCA) and the swift resolution of customer complaints.

Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Oversee customer cases to ensure timely resolution using recognized problem-solving techniques.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA) to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain and update quality specification documentation.
  • Perform internal audits and support follow-up actions.
  • Review and set quality requirements for in-process and final products.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements.

Quality Engineer Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar quality role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of internal audits.
  • Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, 8-D problem solving, Kaizen, 5-WHY, and Fishbone techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, including report writing.
  • Positive and flexible approach to working time and travel.
