Production Planner

We are looking for a motivated Production Planner to join a market leader in their respective industry. As a Production Planner you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure optimal use of manufacturing resources. Your role will involve analyzing production specifications, capacity, and resource availability while coordinating with multiple departments including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality control to deliver products on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels.
  • Adjust schedules to account for changes in orders, machine breakdowns, or material delays.
  • Act as the primary liaison between production, procurement, logistics, and customer service departments.
  • Communicate production schedules, priorities, and any changes to relevant departments.
  • Track production performance against targets, including key metrics such as lead times, on-time delivery, and waste reduction.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels and products are available for production and shipment.
Key Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in production planning, ideally in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
  • Experience using production planning software.
