Our client is a dynamic engineering and manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom.
They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join their team as a Senior Project Planner.
As the Senior Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in managing projects from inception through completion by utilizing your skills with NEC3/NEC4 contracts, Primavera P6 scheduling software, earned value analysis techniques, and project management methodologies. Qualifications Required for Senior Project Planner Role:
To be considered for this role, you shouldideally possess an Engineering Degree. Additionally, you should have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. You should also possess excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to work independently.
Skills Required for Senior Project Planner Role:
As the Senior Project Planner, you should have experience planning complex technical projects across various phases of the development lifecycle using industry-standard tools such as Microsoft Projects or other similar applications.
You should have knowledge of Earned Value Analysis (EVA) to monitor project performance against planned objectives during all stages of delivery. This technique requires both knowledge about financial metrics like cost variance and schedule deviation ratios, along with standard progress measures like % complete or actual vs budget expenditure comparisons, among others.
You should also have expertise in Contract Management, which involves managing contractual relationships between different stakeholders within organizations that work together towards achieving common goals while ensuring compliance according to legal obligations governing these agreements.
You must also possess expertise working with Primavera P6 Scheduling Software, which involves working on intricate schedules that keep track of critical path activities necessary for completing tasks efficiently without delay caused due to resource constraints, etc. This expertise will ensure improved productivity and overall efficiencies at every stage throughout any given process/project cycle.
