    This role operates on a 3 rotational shift system (including 1 in 5 nights), ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities and equipment.   Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? We are a dynamic and growing food manufacturer seeking an experienced professional to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and repairing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Perform regular inspections to proactively address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in maintenance practices.
Qualifications:
  • City and Guilds Level 3 minimum in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role, ideally within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Desirable Experience:
  • Experience with Bosch and Babcock Boilers and Steam systems is advantageous but not essential.
