- 3 Shift Pattern covering Morning/Afternoon/Nights
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and repairing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Perform regular inspections to proactively address potential issues.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in maintenance practices.
- City and Guilds Level 3 minimum in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role, ideally within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Bosch and Babcock Boilers and Steam systems is advantageous but not essential.
