Description

  • Manage and monitor all functions associated with the operation of plant turbine, boilers and coordination of incoming and outgoing waste.
  • Ensuring health and safety guidelines are strictly followed
  • Training, managing, and developing team members
  • To control and maintain the direct control systems to check temperature flow, pressure readings from the turbine/boiler, readings from control systems, gauges and alarms.
  • Conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback
  • Monitoring equipment maintenance and organising repairs if necessary
  • Collaborating with other departments to optimise production processes
  • Ensuring production targets are met on time and within budget

Profile

A successful Deputy Team Leader should have:

  • Experience and/or understanding of operating high pressure boilers and steam turbine plants.
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the industrial / manufacturing sector
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and team management abilities
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in using production management software

Job Offer

  • An attractive salary package of £47,000 per year
  • 4 on 4 off, consisting of 2 day shifts (6am-6pm) and 2 night shifts (6pm-6am).This is the case for 7 cycles, and then the employee has 2 weeks of green days (Mon-Fri 9-5)
