  • Overseeing the engineering department's shift operations
  • Ensuring all machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards
  • Implementing and adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Managing shift schedules and personnel assignments

Profile

A successful Engineering Shift Manager should have:

  • A recognised Engineering qualification (Time Served/Level 3)
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a food manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement & lean manufacturing techniques
  • Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
