Day to Day Duties

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager (Manufacturing) to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of manufacturing projects within a regulated environment.The successful candidate will ensure that manufacturing activities align with overall project objectives, are delivered on time, within budget, and meet required quality standards. This role is crucial in driving the success of the manufacturing aspect of projects and ensuring it contributes to overall business goals and customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills

Operational:

  •  Thorough understanding of production processes, tolerances, and work scopes.
  •  Knowledge of Earned Value Analysis (EVA).
  •  Proficiency in creating and interpreting project plans in Gantt chart format.
  •  Strong understanding of financial reporting.
  •  Ability to perform risk analysis.
  •  Natural leadership qualities, with the ability to gain support and negotiate solutions.

IT Skills:

  •  Proficiency in Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  •  Ability to interpret data to understand underlying trends and causes.
  •  Required Qualifications and Attributes:
  •  Graduate level or equivalent capability.
  •  Minimum of 3 years of significant project experience in a highly regulated environment.
  •  At least 3 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing setting.
  •  Calm, methodical, detail-oriented, and focused on task execution.
  •  Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively from board level to the shop floor.
  •  Ability to produce concise and detailed project reports.

Desirable Experience

  •  5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
  •  Experience with Power BI.
  •  Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
