Maintenance Engineer

Wolverhampton

Days (7:00 - 3:30pm)

£35,000 - £40,000

We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading company. Reporting directly to the Factory Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

  • Providing both Reactive & PPM
  • Ensuring that company and legislated Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
  • Diagnosing faults.
  • Repairing equipment.
  • Obtaining components, fixtures or fittings.
  • Maintaining equipment records and other records as required.
  • Creating maintenance procedures.
  • Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.
  • Carrying out quality inspections.
  • Check the fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits.
  • Being involved in Project Work.
  • Fault Finding.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Maintenance Experience
  • Qualifications Essential
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Efficiency and organisational skills.
  • Team working skills.
  • Good electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.
  • Relevant technical knowledge..
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer is essential.
