Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Panel / MET Technician to join our relaxed and well-equipped bodyshop in Wednesbury. This role is perfect for an experienced professional who takes pride in high-quality repairs and prefers a stress-free working environment without high-pressure targets.
The successful candidate will carry out a mix of panel repairs, mechanical & electrical strip and refit (MET), dent removal, welding, and vehicle realignment, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and replace damaged body panels, quarter panels, and structural components
- Carry out dent pulling, welding, jig work, and filler application
- Perform mechanical and electrical strip and refit (MET) of vehicle components
- Use specialist equipment to realign chassis and perform precise bodywork repairs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, following health & safety guidelines
- Work independently or as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality results
Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair or MET, or time-served experience
- Strong experience in panel repair, welding, dent removal, and mechanical strip & refit (MET)
- Ability to work independently without strict time pressures
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Own tools required
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
