The Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our clients team as a Trainee Music Teacher. This role is perfect for someone with a strong musical background who is eager to inspire students and embark on a rewarding career in teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of engaging and effective music lessons under the guidance of experienced teachers.
  • Develop and enhance your teaching practice through hands-on experience and professional development opportunities.
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster a love of music in students by encouraging creativity, performance, and exploration.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, such as school concerts, choirs, and music clubs.
  • Commit to completing the required training and qualifications to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is ready to take the first steps in their teaching career.

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in Music or a related subject (or currently completing one).
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to inspire young people.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • A commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with young people in an educational or community setting.
  • Proficiency in playing one or more instruments.
  • Familiarity with music education tools and software (e.g., Sibelius, GarageBand).
