Job Type: Temporary (Term Time Only)Hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday to FridayYour New SchoolWe have an exciting new Secondary Attendance Administrator role in an amazing Academy based in Dudley.Key Responsibilities

  • Developing attendance plans.
  • Facilitating communication and resolving conflicts.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date attendance records.
  • Offering counselling and guidance to students and families.
  • Regularly tracking and analysing student attendance records.
  • Delivering training sessions on the importance of attendance.
  • Assisting students who have been absent for an extended period.
  • Ensuring compliance with attendance-related policies and regulations.
  • Implementing and evaluating school-wide strategies to improve overall.
  • Collaborating with external agencies to provide additional support and resources.
  • Assessing students' needs, circumstances, and challenges related to attendance.

Key Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • Proficiency in using SIMS Systems
  • Experience of the attendance process for schools Experience working within a secondary school setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Handle some difficult parents in a professional and friendly manner
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
