Your new schoolWe are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children with SEN. This fantastic Primary School based in Wolverhampton is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them, working on a 1:1 basis with a child with SEN. Receiving a "GOOD" in their last Ofsted report, this school is very supportive of the staff and their development of the school. This Primary School has an ambition to go beyond academic excellence and provide virtue-led experience that will allow their pupils to become compassionate leaders of tomorrow.Your new roleYou will be working 8:30am - 3:40pm each day from Monday to Friday, supporting a Year 4 child with ADHD. You will be following the child's EHCP plan, making sure the child understands the work that has been set by them, making sure that they are achieving their targets that have been set for them, tracking their progress and giving feedback to the SENCO. What you'll need to succeed

  • You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
  • You will be required to have experience working with children with SEN.
  • You will be required to have experience supporting pupils.
  • You will need strong communication skills, especially when working 1:1.
