Immediate opportunity available for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a well-established organisation in Wolverhampton on an ongoing temporary basis

2 days per week in the office

The Company

Seymour John are thrilled to be working in partnership with a well-established organisation in Wolverhampton City Centre, who are looking to hire an experienced Payroll Officer to join their growing team.

The Opportunity

Duties for this role will include:

  • Being responsible for running of monthly, quarterly and yearly periodic payrolls in accordance with established timetables and authorising the payment figures, including authorising and sending of deductions to external bodies
  • Ensuring that work is completed to a high standard through peer review of calculation, data output and correspondence on a regular basis and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with payroll deadlines.
  • Supporting the day-to-day management of the teams workload ensuring priority cases are reviewed and actioned promptly
  • Analysing, calculating and authorising over/under payments of pension manually and have sound knowledge of tax

Personal Profile

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer who is available at short notice. You will need to have experience in a similar role with up to date knowledge of payroll regulations. This organisation is based in Wolverhampton City Centre, so their offices are easily accessible via public transport. The position will be on an ongoing temporary basis with the potential for it to be permanent further down the line.
