Qualified Gas Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £15 - £21.50 per hour
Our client has vacancies for commercial and domestic gas engineers for guaranteed work within the West Midlands area.
The Role
To provide PPM to homes, schools, factories and commercial buildings. Candidates must have good customer service skills as you will be representing the company. Must have previous experience and able to work within teams and be comfortable taking sole ownership of the jobs allocated to you
Key Responsibilities
- All aspect of Commercial gas equipment, including pipework repairs/installations, small boiler installs, gas soundness testing, pressurisation sets, pumps etc.
- To carry out routine servicing, repairs, and from time-to-time small Installations.
- To recognise and complete all necessary compliance records in line with legislation.
- To carry out site inspections, audits and periodic checks.
- Duties to include call out.
- Preferably with a secondary skill if Gas work runs short (i.e. plumbing, electrical or AC).
Skills and Qualifications
- Relevant Gas qualifications available and in date.
- Any other training records.
- Significant previous experience to support other engineers and deal with client's needs.
- Other relevant building services qualifications e.g. AC, electrical, fabric
