As a Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technician, you will play a vital role in the pharmacy operations by performing accurate medication checks to ensure the correct prescriptions are dispensed to our patients.

Working under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, you will utilize your strong attention to detail and knowledge of pharmacy protocols to verify prescription accuracy, dosage, and labelling in compliance with regulatory standards

Key Duties

  • Conducting thorough and precise checks of filled prescriptions to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborating with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to maintain efficiency and ensure timely dispensing.
  • Assisting in inventory management and medication stocking to support seamless pharmacy operations.
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies to uphold patient safety and confidentiality.

Package and Benefits

  • £14 per hour
  • 30 hours per week across Monday-Friday

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
  • Proven experience in a pharmacy setting with a focus on accuracy checking and prescription verification.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, dosage calculations, and medication interactions.
