Kenton Black are partnered with an Environmental testing facility in Wolverhampton who are seeking a diligent Sample Preparation Technician to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will not require prior laboratory experience, as training will be provided. However, those with a history in production, food services, or retail are highly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities of a Sample Preparation Technician:- Accurately registering and preparing various food samples for analysis.- Ensuring that sample preparation is completed in accordance with established SOPs and ISO17025 standards.- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in line with health and safety protocols.- Managing sample inventory, including tracking, storage, and disposal, as per guidelines.- Collaborating with laboratory personnel to facilitate efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.Sample Preparation Technician's are required to have:- A high level of proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow standard operating procedures precisely.- Basic computer skills for data entry and sample tracking.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent organizational skills and the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
