Our client is looking for a talented Technical Design and Planning Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs while ensuring project deadlines and business requirements are met. You'll also play a key role in maintaining high standards of work and customer service, taking a proactive, hands-on approach to delivering successful projects.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site visits to perform surveys.
  • Analyse the complexities of electrical systems while maintaining cause and effect relationships.
  • Ensure compliance by understanding and adhering to legislative requirements in the design process.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to ensure all design elements are clearly communicated and understood.
  • Align project development with customer timelines and expectations.
  • Create detailed designs and prepare equipment schedules as required.
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation throughout all stages of the project.
Requirements:
  • BS5389 experience is preferable
  • Recent experience as a project/design/technical engineer is compulsory
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Driving licence is required due to occasional travel
  • An OND/ONC is preferable
