Join Our Team as a Logistics and Quality Officer!

Are you ready to make a difference in your community? Our client, a dedicated local government organisation, is searching for a passionate and detail-oriented Logistics and Quality Officer to join their Operational Waste team. This is your opportunity to contribute to a vital service that ensures the cleanliness and efficiency of our environment!

Pay rate: 15.08

Timings: (Monday to Thursday 8-4 am and Friday 7.30 - 3 pm)

Contract type: Temporary (Ongoing)

Location: Hickman Avenue Wolverhampton

Key Responsibilities:

As the Logistics and Quality Officer, you will:

  • Provide vital office administration support, including invoicing and purchase orders.
  • Assist in financial analysis to help achieve operational savings and efficiency.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide top-notch service, ensuring all complaints are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Support performance reporting and contribute to maintaining high service standards.
  • Manage debt resolution processes to safeguard the organisation's financial health.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors, customers, and team members.

What You Bring:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Strong organisational skills and experience in office administration.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with CRM systems (knowledge of Agresso is a plus!).
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, particularly in complaint handling and performance reporting.
  • A keen eye for detail, especially when managing data and reports.

Desirable Skills:

  • Financial analysis and budget management experience.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and report writing.
  • A commitment to customer service excellence and operational efficiency.
