They are committed to fostering a love of learning and ensuring every child reaches their full potential. The school are seeking an experienced and passionate Year 6 teacher to join the team. The successful candidate will have prior experience working with Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2 (KS2) classes. You will be responsible for planning and preparing engaging and effective lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of the children. As a Year 6 Teacher, you will plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to Year 6 children, ensuring that the work supports lower-ability children and those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will collaborate closely with the classroom Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support for SEN children. Additionally, you will monitor and assess the children's progress, offering constructive feedback to foster their development. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment is essential, as is engaging with parents and carers to support the children's learning and overall development. What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Year 6 or upper KS2 classes.
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
