Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Specialist to join a SEND school in Wolverhampton. You will work closely with children of primary and secondary ages who are on the autism spectrum, providing tailored support and strategies to enhance their communication, social skills, and overall well-being. As an Autism Specialist, you will conduct detailed assessments, develop individalised support plans, and collaborate with families and educational institutions to create inclusive environments that foster growth and development. You will work closely supporting pupils and have the opportunity to implement evidence-based interventions and facilitate engaging workshops that empower individuals on the spectrum. Your expertise will be invaluable in guiding our team and stakeholders towards best practices in autism support. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, along with experience working directly with individuals with autism. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
