Quality Control Inspector

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 6:00AM – 2:00PM / 2:00PM – 10:00PM

Salary:£40,000 – £45,000 (Dependent on experience)

People Solutions are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our client based in Wolverhampton.

Day-to-Day Duties:

Conducting in-house and goods-in inspections to ensure product quality
Working with measurement tools such as CMM, FARO Arm, shadowgraph, micrometers, and gauges
Using PolyWorks software (or similar) for advanced metrology and analysis
Raising and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Collaborating with customer inspectors and internal departments to resolve quality concerns
Maintaining accurate inspection reports and managing calibration systems
Ensuring all non-conforming products are correctly quarantined and tracked

Essential Skills:

Strong metrology and measurement experience
Proficient in PolyWorks or similar inspection software
Confident interpreting mechanical and electrical engineering drawings
Knowledge of materials, engineering standards, and quality certifications
Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
Experience supporting audits and conducting patrol or supplier inspections

Desirable Skills:

Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality standards
Background in manufacturing, aerospace, or precision engineering
Experience with continuous improvement and QMS auditing
