Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction and refurbishment projects. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for project management, delivering results on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, and contractors to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues that may arise during execution.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements throughout the project.
- Manage risk and mitigate potential project delays by proactively identifying issues and implementing solutions.
- Provide regular status updates to senior management, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Lead project meetings, document minutes, and track action items.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring quality deliverables and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project management software, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
