Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Account Manager to manage and nurture existing client relationships. This is a sales role focused on handling inbound and outbound enquiries, ensuring client satisfaction, and developing accounts further. No cold-calling or new business development is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, maintaining strong client relationships.
- Order Processing: Handle inbound enquiries efficiently, providing timely and accurate information about products, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Client Development: Identify opportunities to upsell and expand the range of services provided to existing customers.
- Outbound Engagement: Proactively engage with customers to ensure their needs are met and address any potential issues.
- Sales Administration: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, orders, and communications within the CRM system.
- Sector Collaboration: Support clients across various sectors by understanding their specific needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with the manufacturing, stockholding, and distribution teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in account management or a similar customer-facing role, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with sales processes and CRM software is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
